Yael Coifman
Yael Coifman brings both entertainment/tourism experience and international business experience to assignments worldwide. Based in London, she conducts studies on innovative leisure real estate projects that incorporate entertainment, retail and attraction elements into resorts and tourism destinations. She provides quantitative and qualitative analysis for entertainment concepts and content, strategic development and feasibility.
Yael has been conducting such studies for thirteen years, nine of which were with ERA where she was made a partner in the firm. In 2005, she started her own consultancy to specialize in the field of mixed use entertainment facility and destination leisure real estate economics, with a focus on sports and active entertainment facilities. Yael is a founding partner in Leisure Development Partners.
Yael has worked on top-level assignments throughout the leisure industry for more of the largest groups through to owner-operator businesses. Yael’s experience is extremely strong with both the private and the public sectors and covers mixed use, visitor attractions from theme parks through to museums, sports and entertainment facilities and resorts.
Yael has been called upon to provide expert witness testimony on several occasions during the planning enquiry of a major arena and relishes the chance to utilise her industry knowledge and experience.
Yael holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management (1994), with a concentration in International Marketing and Operations Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in Economics and Political Science (focusing on Latin America) (1991). Yael also speaks both Spanish and French fluently.
